3rd ANNUAL TINA THOMPSON "She Got Game Classic" Recap

(Bishop McNamara H.S./Forestville, MD) - This was the third installment of the Tina Thompson “She Got Game Classic" presented by Keith Veney and the Veney Management Group. The event featured some of the premier players in the country and some of the most talented up and coming female basketball players that college recruiters will surely want to get on their radar. There were many great plays made throughout the tournament and the coaching was nothing more than spectacular.  

The excitement leading into this year’s field of players was more impressive with new and returning players that we were excited to see. Throughout the evening we were getting immediate reactions from Keith Veney and Tina Thompson as to how the players were performing on the court and their assessment of the level of competitive competition between the players. Not to mention the strategic chess match between the coaches as early leads dwindled or deficits turned into victories. 

All Tournament junior Breyana Mason of Forest Park High School and University of Virginia commit put on a scoring frenzy scoring 39 points to set a tournament scoring record.
