His physical and basketball abilities placed him as one of the top players in Northern Virginia. The 6"3 swing can put the ball on the floor and strong enough to finish in traffic. Darren has trained under legendary trainer Reginald Kitchen for many years so his basketball intelligence is never a question.

Darren has always been a student of game, with a balance of good size and basketball skill he definitely has the ability to play at the next level.

Athleticism: Good Athlete, his physical size contributes to his basketball abilities.
Outside Shooting: No so mush as a 3-point shooter but can knock it down. 
Mid-Range: This is his best shooting range with his size a quick leaping ability he can get his shoot off at anytime.
Low Post: He can post up smaller player but because of his size sometime get matched up against tall opponents which presents some problems.
Ball Handling: No so much as a ball handler like a pure point guard but good in space. Dominate left hand.
Defense: His size provides him the ability to challenge guards on the defensive side of the ball. Playing against top players during the summer has provided Darren the experience to a top defender in the district.
Potential: Darren definitely can play at the collegiate level. What division will solely depend on the need of a program.
Leadership: Darren possess good leadership on the floor. Throughout his career he has played on and against some of the top players in the country who are headed to major programs. This experience provides Darren with the leadership qualities that some have yet to experience.
