Magic Fall High School Basketball League.
The
league will have many of the top boys' and girls' basketball
players from around Northern Virginia as they prepare for the
upcoming 2009-10 high school basketball season.

basketball prospects participating in the
league will be available.
This annual basketball showcase is poised to become a fixture in
Virginia basketball and provide college recruiters a opportunity
to locate talented players for fill their rosters.
The Hoop Magic
Fall High School League, will begin play September 19 and culminate
crowning league champions on November 1. Awards will be
presented by VA Elite Hoops and Hoop Magic to the boys' and girls
All-Tournament Teams, JV and Varsity MVP.
The league
feature boys’ and girls' varsity and junior varsity basketball
teams that possess deep roots in the Virginia basketball
landscape. See you at the gym!

Chris Whelan Herndon Hornets is led by junior Austin
Hamilton who will lead a offense attack fueled a guard heavy
team. As with any team preparation is part of
success and this year the Hornets are looking to leverage
the fall league to see some of their opponents as they
prepare for the 2009-10 season.
Coach
Reggie Barnes lady Hornets are led by Phyllis Martin All
District First Team and Carlon Chambers, Second Team . Last
year the lady hornets fell short of their expectation to win
a district title and this year the goal is the same. Playing
in a tough league can only prepare the hornets to make a
push for the district title.

Second
year coach Jay Williams is rebuilding a young Notre Dame
basketball program that has been in the upper echelon of
high school basketball in past years. Coach Williams stated,
"that playing in the Fall league will give his young
team the early experience playing against some of the best
players that this area has to offer." It's not about
the win and losses but the experience that his team will
gain to carry over into the basketball season.

head basketball coach this years team will be led by seniors
Chris McNeil, Andrew Daniels (AAU Teammates), David Larson
will look to build on last season overall record in the
Concorde District.

(Boys and Girls) The
ladies of Osbourn Park are not taking this field of top
teams lightly. With a team full of All-District Players such
as Kelly
Hamner Holy Cross commit, Rachel Gordon and Destiny Shearin.
Additionally Kelila Atkinson, Alexis Carter and Katie Tassa
received district Honorable Mention, from
top to bottom this might be the most talented team in the
fall league.

Last Year Cedar
District Coach of the Year, Nsonji White Stonewall Jackson
lady Raiders are one of the top teams in Virginia. Strapped
with veteran talent players that are poised to make a run
for the 2009-10 State Championship, the fall league
competition will provide much needed early pre-season test
of their potential. Last years Cedar District Player of the
Year and VA Tech commit Kynai White and All District juniors
Joy
Caracciolo and Sam Jordan are leading the team
through heavy field of top area teams.

Coming off
a very good summer season Virginia Elite's collection of
players from Virginia and Maryland should contend for the
fall league championship. Led by seniors Rashad Gadson
(Westfield H.S.), Antonio Butler (South County H.S.) and
junior Devin Ballem (Chantilly H.S.) this trio is seeking to
build on their summer success.
