Kyani
White
The
2010 VA Tech commit had a total of
nine Division I offers, averaged 17
points, 3.4 rebounds, 7.6 assists and
4.4 steals per game this past season
for the Raiders. She also averaged an
area-best 3.0 3-pointers per game in
earning all-Cedar Run District and
second-team all-Northwest Region
honors.
Playing
for her father Head Coach Nsonji White
for the sixth season demands handwork
and no excuses. Coach White demands
hard work and pushes her and his team
to reach their potential through tough
consistent practices.
The
Lady Raiders won the Cedar Run
District Championship for fourth
straight seasons in 2009. With success
comes rewards Kyani will play for
Virginia Tech and after her senior
season. |

plays the game with allot of passion.
As she competed against a tough

Carter
played an outstanding inside outside
game in week #3 as she connected on
several open jumpers and defended one
of the best guards in the
league.
Along
side a host of outstanding players,
Alexis stood out by her smooth stroke
and extended jump shoot range.
Her defensive in space was great as
she guard quicker players as well her
ability to find a way to score is
another asset to her game. Any college

Samantha
Partonen
play during week three was
outstanding. Samantha is still
considering her college options after
her senior season at Robinson High
School.
The 5"7 senior guard and 2008-09
All Concorde District Player
caught our attention by her play at
the point guard position. Her lateral
movement with the ball was outstanding
as Robinson competed against a very
talented Osbourn Park team that has
several players being recruited by division I
programs.
Offensively
she challenged her opponent in
transition and in half court sets and
on the defense side she was defending
some of the best players in the State
of Virginia. This part of game will
surely advance her career to the collegiate
level. |
