THE START OF A NEW SEASON

By King Productions and Virginia Elite Hoops

HERNDON, VA -- (March 8, 2012) The Start of the 2012 AAU Basketball Season

It was a fun 4 days with Virginia Elite, but now it's time for them find new players, make new plans and concentrate on the task at hand: Preparing for the Summer AAU Circuit

While these players and coaches have been as loose in front of the media as they could be, you can tell there is a lot of intensity flowing throughout the basketball gym. The players are confident, the staff is confident and the people behind the scenes are confident.

NOT READY MADE - BUT- MADE TO BE READY

Virginia Elite Represented at the 2nd Annual Presidential Hoopfest

February 18, 2012 - Three 2011-12 Virginia Elite players played a significant role for their team victories at the 2nd Annual Presidential Hoopfest.

Obi and Nnamdi Enechionyia leads the way for  the St. James Saints  as they defeated Fredericksburg Christian Academy (FCA)

First year head coach Paul Eastons' St. James Saints (Hagerstown, MD) is led by Virginia Elite players Obi Enechionyia, 2014, 6”8, Center and Nnamdi Enechionyia, 2013, 6”5. Both Obi and Nnamdi played an outstanding game against a very talented Fredericksburg Christian Academy (FCA) that is led by 2012 Elite Showcase Basketball Classic (ESBC) Nominee and University of Maryland signee Seth Allen.

The game lead changed several times in the final quarter until the final .6 seconds in regulation with FCA leading by 2-points. Coach Paul Easton called a very strategic timeout and directed a three point play for Obi which he executed to send the game into overtime. St. James captured the victory with both brothers scoring double figures (+20) and Obi Enechionyia capturing the games Most Valuable Player (MVP) award.

Representing Virginia Elite Aram Martin plays a key roll as the Miller School Mavericks defeatS Bishop O'Connell Knights

Next, Aram Martin, 2013, 6"9, Wing for the Miller School Mavericks was in the starting line-up with University of Kansas signee Andrew White (2012 Elite Showcase Basketball Classic (ESBC) High School Invitational MVP and 2012 ESBC Nominee) and played a significant role in the Mavericks win over Bishop O’Connell. Not filling up the box scores with points but staying on the offensive and defensive boards was part of keeping the Mavericks on top of Bishop O’Connell for the majority of the game.
